-SS3: By group, bring a 1/4 illustration board and coloring materials. The groups are:

• Group 1 - CN 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16
• Group 2 - CN 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15
• Group 3 - CN 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30
• Group 4 - CN 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29

-Chem2: Perform the online experiment. Answer the report by pair on an intermediate pad (the report can be found at the BerCsLi y!Group). Due 7:30am.

-Phy2: (notebook, then photocopy) answer the ff:

• Giancoli, 5th ed. pp. 107-108 (39, 43, 44)
• 39.) (I) A force of 40.0 N is required to start a 5.0 kg box moving across a horizontal concrete floor. (a) What is the coefficient of static friction between the box and the floor? (b) If the 40.0 N force continues, the box accelereates at 0.70 m/s2. What is the coefficient of kinetic friction?
  
• 43.) (II) For the system of Figure 4-30 (Example 4-16), how large a mass would body I have to have to prevent any motion from occurring? Assume Us=0.30
  
• 44.) (II) A box is given a push so that it slides across the floor. How far will it go, given that the coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.20 and the push imparts an initial speed of 4.0 m/s?
