Part 1:

so yea, here are some materials we will be needing by saturday:

1. Boxes (lots of boxes, as in used boxes)... 2. cardboard... 3. paint (in all colors possible)... 4. cloth (this is for the backdrop... we need 2 white cloths and a black one) we still dont know the exact measurements but yea we'll know them tomorrow i think... 5. crepe paper (lots and lots of green and brown crepe paper for the trees)... 6. glue (the big size of Elmer's glue will do) 7. scotch tape... 8. wood (we need this for spears and swords (paint it silver))... 9. paintbrush (to paint stuff duh) 10. newspaper (lots of newspaper)... 11. tissue paper (lots of rolls, we'll be using it to make indrajita's head, and more)... 12. bamboo stick *kawayan* for the arrow and the bow itself...

well, yan ung materials na sure thing na kailangan so if you volunteer to bring something... sabihin nio na lang samin ni avi and begonia bukas... make sure if you volunteer to bring one please, dont forget to bring one...

anyway, we're planning to have 4 emblems for the four kingdoms in ramayana: so we need design proposals for monkey kingdom, Janaka kingdom, Dasartha's kingdom and Ravana's kingdom... so yea... if you have one, we need it para sa flag...

okay... i just learned na wala na palang practice or meeting ang Be sa saturday... so looking or estimating the time we have left, super makukulangan tayo ng time for props... especially since everyone has a role in the play... so yea, etong post na to will be explained again tomorrow but para mas madaling iexplain and para mas maagang makauwi... ito ung summary/overview ng bagay bagay about props....

i posted the materials we'll need BY MONDAY yesterday sa blog din... we need everything as in complete materials na para makapagsimula na ng props... si begonia, the head of the props, said na siya na daw gagawa ng armor at shield for 10 people... so yea, medyo umonti by 3% ung needed props... so here's some (well, most of them) of the props we need:

1.) 2 trees 2.) flowers (we need lots of plastic ones) 3.) chairs (we can get this on the day itself) 4.) semicircular table (i dont know where we can get one but we really need one...) 5.) 5 bows with 5 arrows 6.) throne (it must have arm rests) 7.) Bed (for pau) 8.) Knife (dagger na hindi super sharp) 9.) grapes (real since proc will be eating one...) 10.) fan (typical crescent shaped Muslim fan) 11.) 5 swords 12.) Bunch of wood + sticks (we can scavenge pisay grounds for them so its not a big problem...) 13.) tray with food (plenty of food) 14.) straw/grass (pick up in pisay or bring HAY) 15.) "mountain" 16.) anklet and other girl's jewels 17.) the underlined props should at least be brought on the day itself... not underlined means we have to do it... and most of the props listed arent that hard but some really needs a lot of time to work on... so yea, we need to start by monday...

Saturday practice= Robinson's Place Residences, Padre Faura, Ermita, Manila. We all have to meet up in the lobby of Tower 2. To get there, we can carpool, or you can take public transpo (it's near the Pedro Gil LRT). Get to the Padre Faura entrance, not any other. :) The entrance to the Tower 2 lobby is on the left side of the entrance to the mall. I repeat, Padre Faura.

For carpooling, we can probably meet in Pisay, but we have to know who's carpooling, who can provide some transpo, and who's going directly or by public transpo. Tell us by Monday so we can arrange stuff already. :)

Lunch isn't a problem, by the way. :) We can just go down to the mall and eat.

Ma'am Bernal wants to see something nice by Wednesday, by the way. D: We've got to maximize the time we have. If you aren't doing anything, practice your lines/scene with other people.

By the way: to Proc, Lordom, Luge and Stephen, I hope you're reading this because this is important for you. On Monday I'll be giving you black cloth and you have to have your costumes made. Kanya-kanya ito. They need to be finished by July 21, no extension. I'll give the design along with the cloth, it's fairly easy anyway. Tell me how much it costs afterwards so I can add it to our expense list.

To Mymy: I'll also be giving you cloth, although this time it has designs on it and stuff. Just follow the design I'll give you. Yours doesn't need to be done by the 21st, although kudos and lots of hugs to you if it is. Tell me how much it costs too.

-As of now only 3 people have complete costumes (Kaikeyi, Agni and Manthara, though we haven't yet fitted Agni yet). All the designs need to be finished by Monday. People we haven't designed for: Bharata, Maricha (he's cool, we need a cool costume), Brahma (seriously, dudes, we need to change that costume), Sugriva.... I don't remember who else. Let's just finish those by Monday. :P Recent costume acquisitions: 3 translucent scarves, 1 goldish zebra cloth, 1 moro cloth, 3 shiny gold stuff for the 3 queens. Oh and by the way, if we need to have something made, we have cloth already. Not translucent, some bright and shiny satin, how wonderful! :P

Ramayana Costumes ^_^

Remember I told people to bring Indian costumes?

Well, yeah, you still have to bring them. Unless of course, you are either a: a)citizen, b) demon army soldier or c)demon maid WITHOUT another role as another character. (We're not sure about this yet because there are extra characters who we haven't assigned yet). No need to bring these stuff, but PLEASE INFORM US ASAP if you don't have any element of the costume, aka malong, etc.

Citizens with a Y chromosome use white top with printed pajama bottoms (no bears or clowns or childish designs, please).

Female citizens use a white top and any color long skirt, and malong.

Demon army guys use black shirt and black pants.

Demon maids use a black top and a black long skirt.

Guys. We have about a month to finish this play. At the rate we're going... well. Good luck to us. We need to be more serious about this- we do not want to make fools of ourselves onstage. Be should pwn everyone else. No offense to everyone else. ^_^

B. Solution/Hypothesis

Maximum of 5 sentences on your proposed solution including 1) why you think it will work and 2) why it is practical to perform given your resources.

Use literature sources to back up your claims. Paraphrase all information and use in-text citations (http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/03/).

C. Major Objectives

2-5 goals you plan to achieve in your study
What data do you need to gather/tests do you need to perform to say that your proposed solution is effective?

D. Specifications/Minor Objectives

Break each major objective down into at least 2 measurable minor objectives/specifications.

E. Bibliography

List at least 5 major references.
